Help
I have a 1996 Explorer that needs the 3rd HiI MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT ASSEMBLY. mine does not take bulbs and Ford wants wa yto much for that assembly. can someone help me??

thank you I called 5 in my area even called several online places I am beginning to think I got a special truck, thankfully I got in throught inspection for another 2 years. if you or someone else can point me in the direction I would appreciate that.

W/REAR WASHER.. is the washer hose conceted to it?? I did not get an answer when the dealer quoted me such an high price .

I looked it up by OEM part number, the only question was with or without the rear washer option. I am guessing maybe the sprayer is there, (maybe).

If you want one or more info, let me know..

you can actually replace the light and it still not work. In behind the light is a ballast (like a flourescent light) I have had those go bad too. Thats why the dealer quoted such a high price. It might include the cost for both components.

to: vloney, I will call my who is a mechanic and ask him to look at it again ans where to you get the light from??? you guys are most hepful!

these light were in 96 & 97's, i have replaced them with LED stings
