hey all, well i got a 79 f150 here the it vibrates real bad, when you are driving down the road but stops when you let off the gas, but it shacks so bad the truck feels like it is about to fall apart, now we have change all the firing componets, and when it is idling it dont miss you can give it gas in park no shaking? got me puzzled what could it be??

Bad u-joint? Differential about to come apart?
Is it an engine miss or something else in the drivetrain.

Crawl under, and check out the driveshaft for any movement at the u-joints. Make sure you inspect the trans mount as well. Could be broke, and letting the trans flop around.
