Valve cover clearance issues.
Gonna change cam and rocker arms. Guys talk about clearance issues between the valve covers and the upper intake using roller rockers.Talked to tech guy at summit racing about spacers for covers and intake. The best he could give me was "might" and "maybe". Has anyone done this before? What spacers did you use, if any?

You may only have issues if you use taller valve covers, and that's not necessary with many of the aftermarket RR's I have seen. If you did put on a set of valve coves that wouldn't clear the upper intake, then all you need is an intake spacer.. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...700+115&orig=1

I used the tall Ford Racing valve covers and added an intake spacer, but still had a little interference problem with the vacuum fitting on the bottom of the plenum. I was able to cut about 1/4" of of it and braze up the end to gain the clearance as well as tap the hole a little larger so the fitting would screw in further, all is good now.
