I have a 1988 F-150 custom, and I recently blew the gears out in the rear end, I found out those were 3.55's, and I have the rear end out of my dad's 1990 bronco, and I was wondering if they were the same, is there any way to look up what gears they put in the 90' bronco? or a way to find out the ratio, other than looking in the door, cause the bronco is gone now.

the easiest way to find out gear ratio is count the ring gear teeth and the teeth on the pinion and divide. or if the cover is still on a cheap way to get close is to put a mark on the tire and turn the driveshaft over until the mark has gone one full turn and count the number of turns of the driveshaft. on a 3.55 you would have to turn the shaft 3 and a half times to get one turn of the tire and so on.
