Replacing rear main seal
Hey! I got oil leaking out of my belhousing, rear main seal? Right? Anyway, will i have to pull the engine to get it replaced? This is on a 1977 f250 4x4 with a 351m.

Check the oil pressure sending unit in the back of the block, on the top behind the manifold. They can leak badly and look like a rear main seal.
The rear main seal can be replaced without pulling the motor. It is a dirty messy job, but many have done it. Sometimes it is easier to pull the motor.
