'03 'Gator...wind noise
Hello..I am new to this board and I love all the info that is available on this forum. I have just recently purchased a 2003 Navigator and I love the truck. One thing that i have noticed is that when driving on the highway there seems to be quite a bit of wind noise that comes through the doors. It seems to be coming through the top of the door where the weather stripping is. Is this a common problem? and if it is is it an easy fix or do i have to replace the stripping around the door frame? As well all the doors seems to rattle a bit when you close them, could the issue be that the doors are actually loose??. Any help would be greaty appreciated!

You should replace the weatherstripping and have the doors adjusted properly. There is a TSB for the 03 Expy about rattling doors and weatherstripping. It should apply to the Navigator too.
The doors are the same as the previous generation Navigator - nothing new for a Ford body shop to handle.
