03 Excusion armrest

my drivers side armrest is loose, meaning it has no resistance going up or down. how can i tighten this? do i have to go up from the rear bottom of the seat, or something else? it does not appear that the armrest cover comes off.
thanks in advance

Yes it does - There is a bolt that holds the arm rest on. You get to it by carefully pulling back the arm rest upolstry. It has an elastic band and when you pull it back, the bolt head will be exposed.

My driver's arm rest goes down too far. Like it's trying to point at the floor. Is there an adjustment for this?

do what jay said. start from the rear, or butt end of the rest and sort of peel it around the butt just far enough to see the star socket. about a T25 i think. i also wedged my finger down between the seat and rest to put a little pressure in there and it worked great.
thanks jay
