crewcab gold

Went to a few wrecking yards, and found myself a treasure. 78 crewcab. mostly complete. only missing the back doors. I got the trim between the doors for $5.00. Buddy got both ash tray's and the chrome headliner trim for 20. Factory short box with dual tanks. Not in bad shape either. Not sure why the truck was there. It wasn't wrecked or beat up badly. Just wanted to share my story.

Be careful pulling parts. Nothing is worse than finding something like that and someone has ripped the interior apart just to get at one part destroying other parts in the process.

Not a destroyer here. I get angry when you see that people destroy stuff. It may be a wrecking yard, but there is no ryhme or resaon to trashing everything. Other than the doors missing, it was all there. All the trim required was a philips head screw driver. The only thing i found odd was for as decked out as this truck was, that it did not have a tilt column (it was a 78). I already have one. But thought it was odd. My crewcab is a Ranger XLT, fully decked out. It to doesn't currently have a tilt column. But mine is a 76, thererfor I understand why it didn't have one.
