There's not a valve in the fuel lines. The switching is handled inside the fuel tanks by shuttle valves built into the fuel delivery modules. Are you having a problem with cross-flow between tanks?

I just replaced the rear tank after being without it for a year. Now with this happening ,it does'nt surprise me.

Other than this the truck has been great since 49000

miles .

It sounds like the front tank fuel delivery module is the culprit. The valve isn't shutting so a portion of the return fuel (and possibly some of the pressurized fuel to the engine) is going into the front tank. There was a recall this issue, but you may be outside the window of opportunity to get that fixed for free. A new front FDM should take care of it.

Thank you very much.

I will attempt this myself this weekend.

Do you reccommend oem Parts or aftermarket?

I will also replace the tank and straps. Due to rust and 9 years of New England.

A good quality aftermarket should be ok, something like NAPA or Carquest. Other than that, OEM should have all the updated components in it to hopefully eliminate future problems.
