Hey guys, Just thought you'd be interested. A buddy at work has a Duracrap 4X4 Crew Cab, (Chevys answer to the Ford SD's). The dealer said they wouldn't honor his warranty anymore since he drives it off road. We work in the oil patch and see some pretty rough terrain. My F250's been thru hell, terrain, hauling and pulling heavy loads. Hell at one time I had 3 Chevy 1 ton wreckers strung together and pulled them all out at once, ( the drivers said I should have made a commercial). I've had one warranty issue (tranny) and Ford stood behind its product. I'll never own another brand.
i have a 94 F-150 with a 351W V8 4x4 and that truck has taken me thought hell and back...on and off road and i love it, wouldnet own a chebby if you paid me.
I probably haven't been thru the terrain you guys have, but in a similar vein, I snowplow with my F250 and I swear, even though I baby this truck (complete stops before shifting) this thing has taken everything mother nature's thrown at it and kept asking for more.
Late nite, super cold, plow up and down, heavy snow / rain mix, heat cranked, defrost cranked, cd player going....you name it. This truck is unreal. I'm sure every brand has guys who have been thru similar stuff, but for my hard earned money, Ford is the only one I'll trust.
At my side job I work for a landscape business and we have an 01 F350 V10 with 120k. We overload that truck with block, mulch, you name it. 90% of those miles are from towing something. It has a plow on the front and a salt spreader on the back all winter also. The only thing we have done besides standard maintance is replaced the ball joints. That truck has seen everything a landscaper can throw at it and more. And it still drives good.

Keep the rubber side down
Yet another satisfied SD owner! We know what the rest of the world doesn't... yet... Enjoy!
