L6 4.9 performance?

ok, first off i have a 1994 f150 with the L6 engine. i love the reliability of this engine. it has come out running from two distict wrecks...not my fault...it is still in great shape no engine damage. i want to pump more horsies out of it since 145 is just not enough to run with newer trucks now a days. i have some parts in mind but i cant seem to find many of them. i want to get Superchips performance chip, k&N air intake, gibson exhaust system, magnaflow stainless steel cat converter but i cant seem to find any headers. if anyone knows a brand that makes a bolt on set that fits like oem please let me know. and also if u know of any other parts available that i didnt mention. thanks alot!

ive read the section on 4.9 but i think they only have major parts for the older model. and ill check that website too, i know summit racing has some headers but they are not bolt on and cost over 500 dollars...ouch. thanks alot though!

go to Clifford Performance , they make an EFI header that fits right in and has bungs for EGR and O2 sensors (you could probably block these if you don't want/need any of them.) I think it's about $350 dollars. There are some cheaper ones out there, but they wont bolt in as easy and don't have emissions bungs.

I would suggest going with the Hooker Headers. Hooker makes them in both Painted and Ceramic coated. They are a little more costly but I think they would be worth it. I will be putting a set of them on my 93 with the 4.9l. The Ceramics I believe for Summit Racing are 600.00 and the Painted are about 400.00.

hmm, i hadnt heard of clifford befofre i definately check it out, and yes id rather keep my truck stret legal so i still need my emissions things. i might also end up doing custom forced induction, ive been looking into supercharging it. im talking to some local shops who might tune a chip for me and if someone can its green lights on a supercharger.
