Lighted Sun Visors....
Lighted Sun Visors....
On the inside of my 2001 f-150, the sun visors don't have the vanity lights when you flip up the flap to see the mirror. Ford said unless they come with them from the factory, then I'm out of luck because they aren't wired.
Has anyone installed any that run on batteries? Or that can be wired? I was reading some posts where they can be wired to something, but I did not understand what they were talking about.
Thanks! I didn't get any response in the electrical or appearance/dress up forums, thought I'd try here.

I'm not sure if the wiring is there or not.
If it's not it should be pretty easy to add.
Each visor just needs one power and one ground.
You can get those from the dome light or overhead console if it has that.

thanks Dave!
I really don't know much about this kind of stuff. Ford told me the wiring is not there. However, I'm gonna unscrew it and look anyway.
If the visor needs one power and one ground, how would I run the wires? Obviously, I want everything to look stock.
Thanks again.
