Howdy everybody!
I wanted to say a quick hello to all of you folks here, I found the site kind of by accident....
Just yesterday I traded my old tried and true '02 F250 7.3 XLT CrewCab 2wd in on an '06 F250 6.0 crewcab FX4 Lariat. I bought the 'ol '02 in the later part of '01 with 12 miles on it and it had 251,754.6 trouble free (even the automatic tranny!) miles whenever I traded it ... I'm hoping the '06 6.0 will give me the same trouble free service, 'y'all think with the proper maintenance it will? Anything I need to attend to in particular that may have been different than the 7.3?
I really loved the old truck but man is this new one quite a treat, didn't take me long to really start enjoying it. It looks and rides like a dream.
Looking forward to hangin' around for quite some time!

Stevie Ray: Welcome!!! Nice truck I have the same truck but in a King Ranch. I love mine as well, so does the wife she is driving it alot lately. The only thing I have changed with mine is I installed a Navagation sys in the dash. Good luck with your new toy.

Nice truck We could be twins .
Best thing is use good fuel with highest cetane you can get.
Look over the owners manual and treat it like you did the 7.3 and shouldn't have any problems.

firesoutmatt: If I read your signature correct you are running 100% biodiesel I believe that Ford recommends at most 20% bio-diesel (I could be mistaken) How is yours running (compared to fosil diesel) and do they realy smell that much better?

It was 5%. Unless they increased it for the '07s. It will be interesting to see what their position will be on the 6.4.
I read somewhere that Dodge / Cummins increased their position to 20% but, cannot remember where I read it.
