Hi all. I need your opinion on tire/gear combination. My 85 fsb now has 15/39/15 baja tires on it. I will soon be putting 32/11.5/15' on it to make it legal. I have
3.54 gearing in the rears. Is 3.54 gearing and 32 tires a good combination? My bronco will not see any off roading, only on road.
My bronco has been sitting in a storage area for 7 and a half years. The past 6 months I have been working on it to make it legal here in Pa. I'm happy to say that in about another month or so it will be legal and on the roads of Pa.

I’d go with 31x10.50x15. It will get you off the line faster. Tradeoff of course would be higher rpm at cruise speed. I used Bridgestone Duelers in that size for years on my 85 351w Bronco. At the time the style was A/T D683, now D693, but I here the A/T Revo is their best now. I'd go with that or Michelin LTX A/T.
How did the 39s fit under your FSB? was there some kind of lift?
It there was, are you dropping it the run the smaller tires?
the 31x10.50s will be a great tire size for daily driving.
just about any brand will be great for pavement life.
khadma, My bronco has a Superlift 6" chassis lift and a 3" body lift. It had this lift when I aquired it. Believe me its a long story. The lift was done in Hawii.
The engine is 4.9L 300.
