i need some advice, i put a plow on my 1979 f 150 351m and the front of the truck really sags with all of the weight on it. i was wondering if i buy a stock set of new springs, or try to get a set for a 460 truck if it would make a big difference.i was wondering if they are different springs for different engine and trans packages?
Michele is always suggesting to me to mount a plow on my 4x2 F150 to make some money around town.
She calls it a "Monster Truck" because of how powerful the 429 in ...it is.
I suppose it would work if I cleaned the snow off the road every hour or so
You could also get a set of 2" lift springs. That would probably make it sit about stock height with all of the extra weight. Again, get them for a 460 truck and not the modified.
my grandpa plowed with a 4x2 1974 F100 with a 302 and a C6. He lived in northern WI. He had snow tires onthe back and a load of firewood. That is why I love these trucks and plowing snow. I loved anything my grandpa did or had.
