Hello from Ocean View, NJ
Hey all,
I am thrilled to be a new member of what looks to be a great community of Ford Truck enthusiasts. I just purchased a used Ford F150 XLT and am very happy with its performance so far. My new (used) baby is a third vehicle primarily for recreation and handling the home and family needs that usually required me to purchase a case of beer as rent to one of my truck owning buddies. The F150 will replace my 88 Jeep Wrangler which aside from pulling my Hobie Cat on and off the beach twice a year also allowed me the joy of Surf Fishing on Corson's Inlet State Park. Unfortunately the Jeep was less than effective for needs requiring more than 12 inches of payload.
I look forward to the camaraderie and information I know his forum will provide and hopefully once I get a better understanding of the beast I will be able to contribute a little as well.
