Geez, I can almost hardly wait to go back to work tommorrow morning. I came home this week and it seemed that everything I touched turned to doo doo. First my computer blows up, big thanks to Kirk for helping me out on that one. Now this morning the MAF sensor on my wifes car takes a dump. I tried to clean it.......no dice. Dealer wants $450 for a new one, auto parts stores want $265 with a $60.00 core, but none in stock, I go to work tommorrow so thats no big help. All in all my wife is out of a car till I get off next week, so I am going to order the sensor off of ebay for $110.00. My step dad is going to have open heart surgery Thursday so it will work out that my wife can use his car till then. Thats another thing stealing my sanity, the man who done 90% of raising me since I was 2 years old is having a major operation and I will be stuck at work cause I just started with this company and threw my back out so I already had to take days off. Guys and gals, do me a favor and send one up for me before yall go to bed, I see this is going to be a stressful week.
Oh and by the way - now that I've gone all the way through my ranger, it's begun to pop things because it's finally holding pressure...
I figured I'd go somewhere for lunch today at work, and there was a big green puddle under it. Lower radiator hose, naturally...
BAD TRUCK! You're not supposed to pee in public!
Forty bucks later, I still don't have the new lower hose or antifreeze in it because I have to pull the rad shroud, fan, and pulleys off to get to the top hose clamp on it...
But the upper hose hit the trash can just before I had to clock back in. I shortened the lower one an inch and hope it makes it til saturday.
Making plans is like standing dominoes on end in a long line. Life is what happens when some of them have rounded edges...
Thanks guys. You guys are the greatest. That pic. got a laugh Polarbear. I am back at work now and have my mind on other things, and everything is seeming to go smoother now. Will keep yall updated on how my step dads operation goes tommorrow, that is the biggest thing on my plate right now.
Big thanks to everyone who sent one up for me. Everything is coming back togather, my step dad came out of his operation without incident, processor and part for wifes car is on the way. I can finally relax a bit, minus a couple hair folicles of course.
