I am rebuilding an 88 2.9 motor and got new main bearings and the thrush bearing is not the correct one. I bruoght the old bearings to the parts store they called federal mogul and matched the numbers and said this is the right set for the motor but clearly if the thrush bearing doesnt fit around the crank it cant be right.Crank has never been turned and it has original ford bearings. Is there a special bearing set for this motor.Numbers on old main bearings 73TM6333AA and on the thrush 73TM6337AA and on the new ones 3056RA and on thrush 3057 RA federal mogul part # 6101 M. Are they giving me the correct set.
