Exhaust Question...
I just bought a 2002 7.3L Powerstroke with 86,000 miles. It was leaking fuel and I had the dealership replace a defective fuel filter and that solved the problem. But, I continue to have excessive fumes so much so that everytime I am at a stop sign or traffic light the fumes come through the air conditioning/heater and I have to shut the air off. I have had diesels before but I never had such a volume of excessive fumes. Any thoughts on whether something is awry and what can be done to rectify? Thanks.

Sounds like you have some residual fuel sitting somewhere on the motor. Wash the motor down with some simple green and a pressure washer and the odor should go away.
I washed mine down after an oil leak on the turbo pedestal. No problems.
