heated captain's chairs

I'm considering purchasing an 02, F250, crew, PSD, 4x4. I'm considering the heated captain's chairs option(for my cold blooded wife). Does anyone know if the heating element work independantly in the drivers and passengers chairs. My wife is cold blooded, and I'm not. I don't need any extra heat on my side of the cab than is necessary. Thanks for any feedback.

Each seat has it's own activation switch. They run on a timed circuit. I know about the cold-blooded wife situation

I just bought my 02 f-250 lariat crew cab w/psd and it has the heated seats.My wife loves them and uses them but me i could take them or leave them cause im not one who gets cold.They run individually and yes they are on a timer or you can shut them off by pushing the button again.I appreciate the lumbar support more to tell you the truth.if i may make another suggestion get the manually shifted transfer case as opposed to the electric shift on the fly.I've heard they can be a problem at times.
