Flat-Spotting

I have a '78 F250 with the original tires. Problem is that they are bias ply and flat spot like crazy. It took 30 miles of shaky driving this weekend for the truck to smooth out.
Question is: Is there anything that I can do besides blocking the truck up to keep this from happening. Truck will probably sit until next spring. Are there any pads, etc. I can put under the tires? Thanks.

make sure there always full of air dont know if it will stop the flat spotting but it will definatly help... but then agian if your gunna go out there and check the air pressure might as well roll it 3 inches

blockin it is the best way

The problem with your bias ply tires is they are constructed from nylon cord. The nylon will flat spot when the vehicle sits for any length of time, worse when it's cold. They will eventually even out during normal driving, but the colder it is, and the longer they have sat, the longer it will take to round them out. The solution would be switch to a radial tire or jack the truck up off the tires, when parked
