vibration and roar
i have 99 f250 with 5.4,a/t and 3.73 gears.I have a vibration that really shakes the truck from about 25 to 40,and i hear a roaring noise under the truck,sounds like near the transmission.i had the tires balanced and replaced the u-joints.I am now thinking it may be a bearing in the transmission.Any one here have this problem or know how to troubleshoot it.thanks for any help!

the tires are almost new,the roar just started one day at highway speeds,and when i can to the stoplight to slow down it vibrated.The weird thing is i washed it at the car wash and sprayed the underside down to remove some mud i picked up that day from a muddy road,and the roar and vibration stopped for about a week.
