ac problems
it' a 1998 4.6 4x4 super cab. seems like the ac compressor is cutting in and out every 10 seconds or so, even with the ac off. what could be the possible problem? also the ac dosen't seem to be as cold as it was before.

the air conditioner compressor runs in several of the blower positions to take humidity out of the air. normally in the defrost position, and some heat positions-- better description in your owners book. ---- being a 98, i might be a little low on gas by now. might check the pressure low- high side and see if its time to add a pound or so.
