fuel pump replace

going to do my fuel pump tonite,anyone ever cut out part of the turbo pedestal with an air saw to make more room for the hands?thanks

no,just a little bit of the aluminum web on bottom so as to get wrench in easier.i actually did it already tonite and made it a lot easier to get in there.thanks

I was having visions of you cutting into the oil passages in the pedestal. Sounds like a little clearance grinding is just the ticket.
