The other day I was taking out my broken CD player to reinstall the factory cassette player that I know works. I got it hooked up, but when I turned the ignition on, it didn't work. The actual buttons lit up, but nothing on the "screen" and no sound. I tried to install the CD player again, but nothing. Now I know for a fact that the factory one is good. I checked the fuse panel and that fuse is good. Can anybody help me find the problem? All I have to listen to is exhaust now!
The power that lights the buttons is a sperate circuit from the one that powers the radio/cd unit. Although it is on the same plug. Do as quicklook2 says and see if you have a fuse blown for that.
