Need help deciphering a vin

I am thinking about picking up a 50's Merc F500 but would like to decipher the vin. Can't seem to find anyone that knows where to look. Would really appreciate any help....vin 1815072TK-11981....Thanks.

Try www.mercurytrucks.com. Hope I remembered right. I didnt write it down because we dont see too many Mercury trucks down here in central Texas!

Thanks for the Tip BellM. Tried the site but nobody home....don't know why it's so tuff to find anything but I'll keep trying. Thanks again.

Need help deciphering a vin

I have a 51 Merc and Ford. Since they are canadian trucks they aren't easily deciphered. I sent a letter to Ford Canada to see if they could decipher it have got anything back and that was a month ago.
