my 2000 f-350 overhead cluster has quit working. i have checked all of the fuses and they seem to be ok. no other problems are going on now, so i have no idea. this tracing wires in getting to me. thought some body might know if there was a hiden fuse are what fuse does make it work. thanks guys.
The fuse should be fuse 19 under the dash for the unit. It may also draw off fuse 2 or fues 16.
The Fuel Sender is the Yellow/White Striped line.
The Interior Light is the Black/Lite Blue (if equiped).
The Map Light power is on Lite Green/Yellow.
The Lights for the display ar on Pink/Orange wires.
There should be at least two other wires which are the Speed Sensor and the power for the unit itself, maybe 3 depending on which unit you have.
A common problem with those is two little resistors on the circuit board will pop off. It happend to me. I took the cluster apart and resoldered them and it works fine.
Same thing that Spirit615 had happen. I took out the circuit board and had a TV repair shop solder the little things back down for $20.
Try a search, one of the guys showed how to get the console down and board out.
Amiller thanks for the link to Mods, I didn't know about it.
The problem with my board was the little black chips with the 620 imprint, the TV repair shop did however re-solder the others as a precaution and do a continuity test.
