Brake light fuse problem
just purchase an 78 F100, The fuse for the brake light's seems to be loose and I have squeeze the retaining clips to tighten the fuse bulb, seems to work for awhile, then not light's, has any one any ideal on how I can keep the contact constant and keep people found waving the middle finger at me while driving.

It depends on which end is loose. If it is the hot end then a new fuse box is needed. If it is the other end of the fuse you can rob a clip out of another fuse box and splice it in. Some people wrap the end of the fuse with metal also.

They have what they call fuse taps, that wrap around the end of the fuse and give you a place to slide a spade connector on to tap power. You could put one of these around the fuse, and just cut the tab off.

Thanks for the replies; I can only tell you its the lower clip which is loose, last Sunday, i rolled alittle strip of aluminun foil around the fuse and it seem to allow a constant circuit and hasn't fail me yet, also no smoke showing as of yet. I think if I could remove the fuse box, I could / should beable to tighten the retainer clip from the wall side maybe.
