Hi. My cruise control on an '04 work truck died randomly. Was working fine last week, this week, nothing. Looked for a relay for cruise, but there wasn't one. Fuse was good. Everything else tied into the cruise system was working, ABS, GEM etc. Don't have the time during the week to have dealer look at it. Out of warranty @ 56,000...
my '93 has intermittant cruise, will work fine for months then not work at all for a while. its working now but had quit around july and hadnt worked since until 2 weeks ago. its a nice surprize when it does work, cant worry to much about it on mine being almost 14 years old.
Check your brake light fuse and brake switch, clutch switch too if it's a stick. if they are bad, the cruise wont work. If your cruise was an added on option like mine was, it was have an inline fuse that will be somewhere in the wiring under the dash on the drivers side.
No ABS light, functioning properly. Brake lights work so I assume that rules out fuse and switch. Just won't engage. Hit ON and SET and the light doesn't turn on or anything. Just dead. Cruise was factory, but no other options really. Auto too...
