92 f150 tranny problem
Hello all! just wondering if you could point me in the right dirrection to getting my truck movin. It a 92 f150 runs good but hard to get moving in gear once it does start going shifting problem, then once the check engin light comes on once i stop the tranny doesnt want to go any more, until i unhook the battery for a few minutes. then the process starts all over again. that how i got eh home. Reverse seems ok, if any thing fluid is a bit to high.

the speedo works just fine.[when the truck is moving of course] The tranny just has no guts. I can get her up to cruizin speed for a little while but once i slow down the check engine light comes on and then its hard to get it back rollin. the engine felt like it was sputtering a bit but one i put it in neutral it ran fine.
