vin for the 1968 production year

How may digits are in the vin for 1968 I copy only 11 ie F25YRD68748? Am I missing something and if so where do I find what I'm looking for? I found only the above number at the top of the sticker on the door. Thx for your help

There were only 11.

They changed to 17 digits in 1981.

F25YRD68748

F25- F250 4x2
Y- engine 360
R =Plant built at - San Jose calif
D68748 consecutive build number
