As an extension to my earlier "Who has straight piped their exhaust" thread, here's a question about the muffler delete pipe......
What did you use? I saw one of the site sponsors offered 4" delete pipes, though I have not seen a 3 1/2 delete pipe. Have you guys used the 4" pipe, and just had it welded to the rest of your system?
well before I put on my MBRP 4", I the owner before me had deleted the cat and muffler and used flex pipe. it was metal, and did the job, but I would not suggest if for long term. just my thoughts. it did make it louder if that is what your looking for.
I went to the local muffler shop, I gave them the dimensions I needed (4" exhaust) and they cut me a piece and didn't even charge for it, although I cant remember how long it was....ill measure it if you want. Then I just welded it in place:

Absolutely no pun intended, but your shaft still freaks me out.
