Coolant Leak
My trucks 302 has developed an antifreeze leak. Every couple of days the expansion tank is empty. It is in top of the timing chain cover and in front of and behind it. I cant really tell what is going on, but I have a new water pump as of about a year ago and am just assuming it is the timing chain cover. There is not any water in the oil and visa versa. Im thinking that it is just leaking right at the edge of the water jacket. Has anyone else experienced this? If I go about pulling everything off and try to redo the timing chain cover seal, would it be better to use a gasket or just use high temp RTV? Im open to any other ideas or input. Thanks
