First off welcome to FTE lots of good people and info around here

Generally not a good idea to decrease the load capacity of your tires. But here is the info so you can make your choice.

Your truck came with "D" rated tires in that size they have a capacity of 3000 lbs.
If you switch to "C" rated tires in that size the capacity drops to 2470 Lbs.

That is 530 lbs per tire less so it will decrease your rear axle weight carrying capacity by 1030 lbs.

I guess you could do it if your truck is empty and you don't plan on carrying any weight or towing anything with it while you have these tires on.

Also make sure they are Light Truck (LT) rated tires and not passenger car tires.

And if you know the actual weight of your truck with you in it and a full load of fuel that would help.

If it was me unless the tires were really really cheap and my existing tires were bald and i had no more money i wouldn't do the deal IMHO.

Hope this helps
