Ugly Rumor

Heard an ugly rumor tonite -

"Ford is planning on recalling all of the 6.0L engines once they find a good replacement."

Can anybody confirm or refute this?

I heard that there are still a lot of 3.8 V6 engines left over from the Taurus/Windstar fiasco of '95

yea, its going to be hard as heck trying to find anything as good as the 6.0 is.

i also heard ford is going to have a new deisel, and its going to be a cat!

and also ford owns cummins.

That'll be something... a recall that costs 15K or more per unit... that would be a wise business move!

ok now everyones had a laugh. i have not heard nything from ford or seen anything of the sort. yes there have been a ton of recalls on the 6.0 engine but it has not been for replacement. the engine is sound. itis the emision equipment that is haveing the problems with mainly. so who ever is saying this is a troll as we like to call em here.

We should have fun with the trolls here. Ford owners don't bother trolling gm sites we have better things to do!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like they have to convince themselves they didn't buy a piece of junk every time a Superduty goes by.
