Thumbs up

The BODY GROUPS in FoMoCo F Series, by year, run 65 & 66 , 67-72, And 73-79. As usual John is spot on with his answer, the 67-72s fit in a virtually bolt up manner with a little adaptation.

The WB is slightly longer on 73-79s & Rear frame width in C/A or Cab to Axle area is a little wider.
Never the less my 66 F-100 Styleside, CC, SWB sits on a 79 F-150 Trailer Special SWB chassis and all it took was fudging the bed a tad and fabricating new mount holes to fit the 3" wider C/A. . . .
If you run into problems ask, we'll be here to help ya.
