water temp sensor tool

Im trign to change my water temp sensor and i have located the sencor port i just cant get the fastner out and no conventional tool, seems to be able to reach or be big enough...help...

If your talking about the one on the intake, I just used a deep socket and a extension....???

You are talking about this one right? There are two....one for the ECU and one for the gauge.
