Have to take the drag-ling out of my 55, never took one apart like this, if you take the screw out, is there a spring that is under pressure from that screw?

I changed out the drag link on my '48, and I believe it's the same set-up on the 55's. There is a spring when you take the screw out, but it's not under a lot of pressure, so it doesn't shoot out or anything. This diagram from the Dennis Carpenter catalogue might help you:

Be careful to note the exact order the parts came out in for each end, they are not the same.
