demo headers

I checked the classifides for 429/460 demolition derby headers. I need a set of 429 headers that exit out the hood of my mud truck. (A pair of engine swap motor mounts would be great too) Does anyone have anything?

I might be able to help you out with the motor mounts. I make solid swap mounts to put a 429/460 where a 351/400 or a 360/390 was.

i have a 400 in my truck now. how much do you ask for a set, and where are you in missouri. i go to school in rolla, but i live in columbia, il

When I was thinking about putting my headers throught the hood on my mudder, I found a place called DEC Headers, they sell upright headers for derby cars. Their product is well made and compared to zoomies, hedman, hooker and scheonfeld, are a good buy. They make those type of headers for just about any type of FoMoCo engine. Google for them, I dont have a link, Dave.

Here is a picture of DEC headers I ran on my cleveland they do make a decent header for the money.

And the motor mounts that greenhighboy makes are very well made pieces and definatly worth the money I have been running a set of them on my 528 stroker in my truck for 2 yrs now. Definatly the way to go.

I will definitely second those DEC headers. Matter of fact when you go to the wecrash.com you will see that DEC headers is a sponsor for Demolition Derby's all over....
