'05 vs '06

I have an '06 F-350 PSD that I want to buy some aftermarket wheels and tires for. My delema is that I have 18" wheels and would like to go to 17's (do to the extremecost of the tires). I want to know that 17's will fit around my brakes, I know that the XL's come with 17's standard so that leads me to beleive that I could use them on my truck. I know this sounds stupid but, did they change the size of the brakes from the XL to XLT??? That doesn't seem right. Does anyone have 17's on their '06 F350?

mine has 17 on it, its an f250 but same thing as a f350. there is no major difference between xl, xlt and others besides comsetic and convenience.

17s will work just fine...

There are 17s on the F-350 DRW work truck I drive... I imagine if they were to upgrade the brakes to anything larger it'd be on that truck.
