Ok, I confess, I am a new Ford convert. While I can build a chevy stroker with my eyes closed I know very little about a Ford small block.
I just bought a very clean 1995 4x4 F150 extended cab. The 302 in it is tired and a bit weak for my taste. I would lke to trick this truck out. Small lift kit, big tires etc. I first need to beef up this engine, I like the tork of a stroker and would like build one, either from this 302 or a 351 and fuel inject it. What are my best options.
What crank do I need? Do I need to modify the block for crank clearence? Will this truck accept a 351 without too much trouble? Any and all input is welcomed.
