hi i'm new to the site and i have a problen that i think is a sensor but idon't know which one .the problem is that if i'm driving at any stedy speed the engine stars pulling like the transmission it's slipping or alike if i let the gas pedal alone it quits doing it or if i accelerate it quits doing it and works fine so i don't really know what's wrong with it i hope any of you had been with the same problem and tell me what you did to corrected.
p.s. i don't whant to get to the dealer and pay 350 and was only the tps 2 months later it quit working and replaced myself for 25.00 and 15 min of my time...

it is the transmission shudder?

it feels like you are driving on a washboard.

It is the sensor on the tranny that deceides what gear you are in. When they go bad they throw the tranny into nuetral briefly. Think the sensor is called the MLPS. Easy to change it. It is external. Could be the sensor or just the connection. Maybe a damaged wire. Clean the connection and fill it with di-electric grease to prevent corrosion. If that doesn't fix the problem replace the switch. You need to fix it soon. Not good on the tranny to drive like this.
Do a search here for MLPS and you will find a lot of info.

Good luck Frank
