Fuel Sending Unit
Help again.
I just got my mustang gas tank for my 55. I am wondering what to do about a pick up and sending unit. I will be using Autometer gauges that comes with a sending unit for the fuel gauge. Do I order a stock sending unit for that tank and then replace something on it with the autometer part or what?

Autometer makes 2 types of guages. 0-90 ohm (GM) and (I think) 70-10 ohm (Ford, et al). The easiest way is to use the correct guage for the stock sending unit. If you have the wrong guage it will read backwards.
