I was procrastinating from studying for midterms yet again and browsing the net when I came across this little juicy page on supercars.net A Ford FR100, a modified 53 F-100!

That thing is <PG13> gorgeous!
Ya know, with the VW New Beetle, the BMW MINI that just came out this year, the new Thunderbird and how many trucks are being bought these days it's amazing to me that one of the big three hasn't done a REAL retro truck yet. Heck, I'd buy one for the next new vehicle!
Isn't it beautiful Craig?? A friend of mine forwarded pics of it! Gotta have one!!! Now if Only I could get my hands on a winning lotto ticket so I can popo one of those engines into my Panel!! I'm hoping they decide to market those gauges!! I want them! Heck...just produce the whole truck! I's sell my Mustang to get that! And thats like parting with a limb!
Nice seeing you at the Pumpkin Run! Next year I'm bringing my Panel instead of Mac's Frankenstein beast!

What a cool piece of metal !! Guess the only one who needs one is me !! This the right thing to push the Porsches and Mercs off the left lane on the German Autobahn. There's still general NO SPEEDLIMIT ! ... but the major German car manufacturers limit their big ones electronically to just 250 Km/h (that's 156 Mph). ... but there's always means to override these limiters.
O' man, gotta get one of those, wish they would make a bolt in suspension, that would be nice. Hey, those guages have been on the market for a while, I think they're in the Motorsport catalog, seen em in Street Rodder a few times. But wow, that chassis is beautiful!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Nov-02 AT 04:58 PM (EST)]just a side note i was watching hot rod tv on speed network and saw the ultimate wolf in sheeps clothing a 5.0 in a new ford focus and you can buy a kit to put it in from kugel komponents here is a link to it
I took my '56 F100 to a San Antonio Car show yesterday hosted by the SA Mustang club....a Ford dealership was there giving away posters of the FR100 (yep, I got one)......and that sorta brought some added attention to my truck as I was the only 53 - 56 F100 there. Think I'll frame the poster.
