slow drain
the problem is on my 86 f150 (351w), i had lent my brother my truck (for the last time) now shes got a slow drain, long story short he left the lights on, drained the battery, charged it back up, hooked it up backwards and poof... no power, i found the burnt fuse link fixed it, and now she is dead every morning, just wondering if anybody has any ideas what could cause it to drain?

The stock ones always worked for me. I have never bought an aftermarket one.
If you want to double check to make sure it's the alt, do the test below. Since you have a drain, the light should glow bright, so take the wires off the alt and see if the light goes out.
