Alternator part deaux
I had a battery light that went on and off with RPM changes and steady "middle of the gauge" voltage. I changed the alternator and when I went for a test drive, I had a steady battery light, volt gauge pegged at 18+ and lights extra bright. I'm 99% sure I got a bad alternator from the parts house, but I just need to confirm that the volt regulator is internal to the alternator. If not, I suppose I need a voltage regulator not another alternator.
