Ya' may have to let it run awhile. It's fed from the front reservoir, and if it hasn't been used regularly, it takes a little while to pump the fluid all the way back there.

Did you order your owner's manual yet? (hee hee)

You also might want to check the washer fluid hose from the body to the rear door is not kinked. It's located at the top and if I remember correctly is in a large black plastic corrogated tube. Drove me almost nuts trying to figure out why I had little or no fluid at the rear wiper until I found the kink. Twisted the kink out and repositioned the hose - end of problem.

hey, i had the same no-rear-wiper-juice issue. Except mine was a little more exciting. When I turned on the rear wiper, the fluid poured out of the ceiling into car towards the back, and also dripped out along the passenger-side door-frame. It turned out that there were two push-in connectors that had disconnected. I have a 2000 X, but they were in the center of the rear-door opening at the top. Just pull down the plastic fascia, (you can see where it is because the little corugated tube in the center is the exposed part of it) and the other one was under the carpet it the passenger footwell.

I know this kind of an old post, but I figured id just stick that out there

The rear washer did not work on my '01 when I got it. I took it back for repair under warranty. The problem was the hose was disconnected at the reservoir. They simply re-attached it.

Thanks a everybody ...the problem was a connection on the fire wall on the passenger side was disconnected. Also in the rear next to the dome light there is a connection that was disconnected as well , easy fix once i track it down ....Thanks again
