steering problem
I have a 2000 F-250 SD 4x4. My steering wheel has a "dead spot" in it. When I make a right turn, and turn the wheel past about half a turn, on the way back just before it gets to center the wheel will jerk itself to center. It's only happened when making a right turn, and I can't feel anything sitting still.
The steering box was adjusted, and balljoints were all replaced a couple months ago. The drag link was just replaced because it had play, and the rest of the linkages are still tight. I checked the ball joints today just to make sure, and they didn't have any play in them.
I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this before, or has any suggestions to what they think it might be.
