LMAO I just knew that big ugly nasty chevy would suck it up! He ended up with last place overall by far! He only had 23 points and the next worst competitor had 35!
My pick for the win, the 66 F-250 ended up with 2nd place... only 5 points behind a Heep.
Overall the results were basically what I expected.
Yeah, who'd have guessed that the big blue chevy would break one of those thinwall square tube axle anti-wrap bars? Hmmmmm. Maybe he'll wise up by running fuel injection, getting aftermarket rear springs so he doesn't have 12" worth of lift blocks, and maybe, just maybe, he'll sell me his axles and tires. He did very well in the uphill tow test however.
I didn't get a chance to look at it much, but I took a quick look at the results and saw the big chevy stalled out 18 times in 20 minutes of one coarse, and got alot of DNFs, do to stalling out.
I was very suprised to see that he got first in the uphill tow test.
He had a 454 and his mods were flowmasters..... I mean really.
I can't stand how the Heeps always win, even though the only thing Jeep about them is the body. This just give more people the idea that Jeeps a good for off roading, when compaired stock to stock w/a Ford, the Jeep is a play toy.
I finally got my magazine yesterday. Looked like TTC was pretty lame this year. I read thru it in a drunken state last nite, and nothing looked too thrilling.
