Transmision noise??

Transmision noise??
I have had a noise in my 94 awd aero That I thought could have been a rod , But upon further review The noise goes away when I put it in park or nuetral. The noise is always present until I do this then there is no noise at all???? Any ideas on what this COULD be.. THANX

It might be the transmission valve body pressure spring. I installed a shift kit in my T-Bird and it started buzzing until I put it in gear. But it shifted so much better. The Aerostar did similar when I first changed the shift modulator.
